This time the state government took more drastic steps to deal with Corona in the state. Nabanna declared a virtual lockdown in the state for 15 days from May 16 to May 30.

State Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay made the decision at a press conference on Saturday. He said all government and private offices, except those attached to the emergency services, were being closed. Along with local trains, it was also decided to stop bus, metro and ferry services. Taxis and autos will not run without an emergency. According to sources, it is not possible to go out on the streets from 9 pm to 5 am without the need.

What is open and closed in the state

 

1. Local train, bus metro ferry service will be completely closed .
2. The sweet shop is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..
3. Auto and taxi services will be closed without emergency.
4. No more than 50 people will be present at the wedding and 20 at the funeral.
5. Government and private offices will be closed.
6. Shopping malls, gyms, swimming pools will be closed.
7. All educational institutions will be closed.
8. All political and religious gatherings will be closed.
9. The bank will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ATM service will continue.
10. Grocery and Nabazar will be open till 8 am to 10 am.
11. Petrol pumps will remain normal.
12. The bar will be closed.
13. The jute mill can work with 30 percent workers.
14. All industrial establishments and factories will be closed.
15. Parks, zoos, sanctuaries will be closed.
16. Commerce and home delivery will continue.
17. Medicine stores and spectacles stores will remain open.
18. Trucks and cargo vehicles will be closed inside the state without essential goods.
19. The tea garden will be staffed with 50% staff.
20. Row and jewelry shops will be open till 12 noon.
